MISA Ontario holds its Annual Conference and Tradeshow each spring and presents a national IT Security Conference each fall. In both cases member municipalities serve as hosts and provide the organizing teams.
- MISA Ontario Annual Conference and Tradeshow, May 27- 30, 2012, at the Hamilton Convention Centre.
- MISA Ontario 10th Annual Security Conference, entitled "Security in a Mobile Workforce", October 21- 23, 2012, City of Barrie. Registration for this event will open in mid-2012.
The conference is designed to attract IT professionals and business executives responsible for the creation, delivery and management of frameworks/strategies for information security, risk management, compliance, and business continuity.
A MISA conference is an annual milestone of progress for municipal IT professionals and managers and the companies that work with them. Keynote speeches, workshop presentations and trade-show displays combine to illustrate the direction in which municipal technologies and strategies are headed.
Both conferences have become dominant business events in the Ontario municipal IT market. They are ideal for making contacts, as public- and private-sector specialists come together as colleagues.
